Civil Liability

1.1.1 Third-party liability

Our actions or those of our children (or those under our guardianship) can often affect third parties, resulting in unintentional material damage or bodily injury to them.

General third-party liability insurance will protect you from these unintentional and unforeseen damages. The protected persons will be: you, your family (spouse, minor children) and other persons for whom you have legal responsibility (guardianship). Additionally, the Insurer will also pay for your legal costs if only in this way the damage could be accurately established.

1.1.2 Employer's liability towards employees

A commercial company/Employer is liable towards employees for situations in which they suffer work accidents or suffer damage to their property, due to negligence.

The employer, by failing to take measures regarding compliance with the legislation, regarding labor protection. The insurer will cover the costs that your company should bear, as follows:

For bodily injuries, the expenses necessary to restore the health of employees who suffered accidents at work or expenses related to their death are covered (including maintenance pensions to which heirs are entitled);

For damage to employees' property - the expenses necessary to repair employees' property or replace them are compensated;

Legal costs, if the claim for compensation was settled in court and the court has determined that you are liable for compensation.

1.1.3 Producer liability

Under applicable law, you are liable if the products manufactured and/or sold by your company have hidden defects or manufacturing defects, and the end consumers of these products suffer damages such as bodily injury/death or damage to other property. Also, if you or your company delivered products that were not properly packaged or were not accompanied by correct and complete instructions for use and, as a result, the beneficiaries suffered damages, you will be required by the affected persons to repair the damages you caused. In this case, your Insurer will cover the costs that your company should bear, as follows:

for bodily injuries;

for damage to the buyers' property;

legal costs, if the courts were called to resolve the claim for compensation, and they established compensation for you;

1.1.4 Tenant's Liability to the Landlord

If you or your company caused damage to the owner from whom you rented a location where you live/do business, you will bear the costs to cover these damages. The Tenant's Civil Liability Policy towards the Landlord covers the expenses for:

for bodily injuries to the owner - expenses necessary to establish his health, death expenses or maintenance pensions for heirs;

for damage to the location or to the rented goods, the expenses necessary to bring them to their original condition or to replace them will be paid;

legal expenses, if the claim for compensation was appealed to the courts, and they established compensation in your charge.

1.1.5 Owner's Liability towards the Tenant

A relatively similar situation occurs if you or your company are the Owner of a location that you have rented and the Owner's Liability Policy towards the Tenant is concluded.

The tenant will be compensated by your Insurer for damages caused by the building/property rented in this way.

1.1.6 Civil Liability of the Service Provider

As a service provider/provider, you assume both contractual and legal responsibilities towards the Beneficiaries of your activity. Liability is assumed both for the Clients' goods and for their physical integrity. Consequently, in the conditions in which you harm their health/physical integrity/life or patrimony, you will suffer financial damage, because you are obliged to repair the damage. However, if you have concluded a Civil Liability policy for the Service Provider, the Insurance Company will pay for you:

for bodily injuries caused to the Clients/their employees, the expenses necessary to restore their health, death expenses or maintenance pensions for the heirs;

for damage to the Client's property, the expenses necessary to restore them to their original condition or replace them will be paid;

court costs, if a court was called to resolve the claim for compensation
